Quality of Care - Reports
OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality and safest patient care in the region. Our Quality Improvement process involve staff from throughout the medical center including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, emergency and trauma service staff, as well as critical and intensive care departments.
One of the steps OSF Saint Anthony has taken to provide the public with information about the quality of the care we provide is by participating in the Healthcare Quality Alliance, which is a collaborative effort between the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, national hospital organizations, accrediting organizations, consumer advocates and others.
High Quality Patient Care
Dedicated to providing high quality patient care, OSF Saint Anthony is the first healthcare facility in the region to achieve a number of certifications and designations, including Stroke Center certification, full Cycle II Chest Pain Center accreditation, Alzheimer's Disease Primary Provider Site designation, the Gold Seal of approval for diabetes education, a commendation for the OSF Saint Anthony Center for Cancer Care, the American College of Surgeons Level I Trauma Center verification, certification for our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), and other national achievements and recognitions.
